Our Favorite Things To Do At Talking Rock Park

Sit and Swing By The Creek

There are several swings that you can sit and rock, and enjoy the sounds of the creek. We have to admit it's absolutely therapeutic.

Go for a Walk Among the Trees

Talking Rock Park has the most beautiful trees. Trees you can climb, trees that you walk through, trees with holes in them, and trees that hug themselves. Walk along the paved walking path, and take in the breathtaking scenes under the cover of these beautiful trees.

Have a Family Picnic

This park offers everything you need for a family picnic or to spend the day by the creek grilling out with family and friends. Grills and picnic tables are provided. Please use the trash cans and keep the park clean. If you would like to rent the pavillion at the park for a birthday party or event, click the link below.

Play In The Creek or On The Playground

Talking Rock is one of the only towns in North Georgia where you can pop your chair in the creek for some old fashioned summer fun! Talking Rock Park has parking, a playground, walking path, and creek access. If you get a little muddy, that's ok! They have an outdoor shower to rinse off. We try to keep the park clean, so any leftover creek toys get neatly laid out and able for others to use when visiting.

Paint and Hide Rocks

The park is truly magical and part of that magic is letting your kids paint and hide rocks in the park. They can even take ones they find and replace them with new ones.

Get Married

Why not? It's a beautiful place to have a small intimate ceremony. There is an arbor perfect for exchanging vows. Downside is that being a public park, the public might show up. Depending on the time of day a train may also come by.
